Suject of Internet Security binds together : Google- Microsoft - Facebook

In spite of being competitors to each other , the issue of establishing safe & secure Internet brings three IT stalwarts together: Microsoft , Google and Facebook. These institutions have chalked out a work plan for ethical computer hackers / security experts to detect / point out flaws or defects in Internet Security or 'web bugs' .

Within the format of this work plan also known as hacker One , the experts have to find out flaws in Internet Security . Depending on the level of success - the experts could be awarded anywhere from minimum $ 300 to almost $ 5000 . The money awarded could increase depending on the findings to be from critical to very critical .

A news from BBC Online states that though these competing IT stalwarts differ with each other on various issues but they are on the same page when it comes to the issue of safe & secure Internet usage. This opportunity is open to ALL . But due to US trade restrictions : barring the citizens of countries such as Cuba , Iran , North Korea and Syria - citizens / even children of all other countries can take part in this activity. In the event that any child finds out / discovers flaws in Internet Security - the reward money has to be acquired through/ by their guardians.

In order to assess to what extent a security flaw is crucial - there would be a panel from Google Team. It would be based on their decision who would be rewarded how much money for finding what security flaw. This reward money would be procured by Microsoft and Facebook. https://hackerone.com/ibb
